Culture, genetics, and behavior

In parallel with our "strightly"-defined focus in biology we also maintain an interest in questions of wider-scale, both at the level of time and at the level of populations. For example, the biological underpinnings of cultural divergence, especially between East and West, represents one of the most challenging questions ever asked. Also, whether by studying the progress of our civilization is informative for our future is also among the areas we have an interest.
